After his six-month old granddaughter underwent life-saving open-heart surgery at the Crumlin Children's Hospital last year, Johnny Groome set up the fundraising Ciara Golf Classic by way of thanks. And it didn't take too much convincing for all his friends to join him on the course. Heck, they even went all the way down to Arklow to show their support.
