Chakra have just released the details of today's free Sunday dinner for all those workers and volunteers keeping us fed, in meds, and safe during these Lockdown Lite days...
The plan of action for Sunday, March 22nd
All of the food is being cooked early in the morning and we will be blast chilling it to ensure that it is safe to last. It can be heated in the microwave or whichever way you feel appropriate.
Call and let us know how many people are you collecting food for and the name of the person collecting and the heroes. Also and approximate time of collection would be much appreciated.
There will be table outside Chakra which will be the collection point.

You can also let us know on +353 (87) 1039876 by what’s app or text from 12pm onwards.
There are benches outside where people can sit should they have to wait. We all know the rules of social distancing, please abide by them.
We will leave your food with the name slip on the table outside.
The menu will be on Chakra’s Facebook page along with an allergens list. The allergens are also listed on the containers.
We have also catered to vegetarians and Vegans. Please let us know when you call and before you arrive to collect.
Our priority is to feed our heroes - our health care workers, retail campions, the ambulance, fire and police services. The people helping the wheels of the Darts and busses running delivery drivers etc. first and of course people who are self-isolating and are sending people to collect.
We promise if we run out of food and it’s safe to do we will do this again.
