Ah, the dancing! The glamour! The damn good cause! Yep, Strictly From The Movies had everything your little heart, soul and feet could desire, as the Gavin Glynn Foundation fundraiser took over Newtownmountkennedy's Parkview Hotel for the night. And filled it full of beautiful Greystones people. What a treat that must have been for the locals. Everyone and her brother was there that night, all done up in their finery, and all there to cheer on the brave dancers who had trained so very, very hard to try and tell their left foot from their right. It was magical. It was tragical. Most importantly of all, it was funky. The cute couple who did the Dirty Dancing routine won. Can't remember their names now, but, they're most likely performing in Vegas six nights a week right now. So, a wonderful night, and a wonderful charity. And to think this night sparked an even greater blast the following year. You can check out 2016's extravaganza here.
