There was
welly-throwing and wobby tractors,
egg & spoon races and a
Foster & Allen lookalike competition. As expected,
Mary Mulcahy and Florence Hicklebottom won the latter. And there was, of course,
the great John McGowan, who has had, it would seem,
an even busier weekend than GG. Man, we
can't wait for autumn to kick in, when people can just
get their teeth out and put their feet up.
Well done to Peter Murtagh and the Burnaby Residents Association for putting the whole thing together. Next year though, try and actually let us know about it in advance. You Victorian era-loving fecks.
